Welcome to the new Lu’Lu

Thank you for being here. After our first months open, we’ve tested and fine-tuned our team and the way we work, and Lu’Lu is fully ready for the season ahead: the same small groups, certified pros and a team that remembers your name.

This new website is part of that: everything about diving with us, in one dive from the surface to 40 m.

And from next week, our Divemaster Trainee spots are full: we’re proud to help a new generation of dive pros learn to do things right, one person at a time.

Booking terms

Prices and payment

Our prices are in US dollars (USD). You can pay in cash or via Wise. We also accept Philippine pesos (PHP) at the Lu’Lu rate, set on the 1st and the 15th of each month using the Wise rate, with the price rounded up to the next 100 PHP. Cash US dollars are accepted at the USD price. For Wise payments, the price is the net amount we receive: transfer fees are paid by the customer.

Included: equipment, guide and diving fees. Dive computer: we provide one on the Advanced Open Water Diver and on selected dives. We recommend having your own.

Deposits

To confirm a booking we ask for a deposit:

  • Fun dives, Try Scuba and Refresh: USD 20
  • A single course: USD 100
  • A combo of two (Action included): USD 150
  • Dive Guide or Divemaster: USD 200
  • Mastery: USD 400
  • Road to Divemaster: USD 400

The deposit is deducted from the final price. The balance is paid on arrival, on paperwork day, before the activity starts.

Cancellations

  • If you cancel 24 hours or more in advance, we refund your deposit and any amount paid.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours in advance or don’t show up, the deposit is non-refundable: it covers the instructor or guide we had already booked for you.

Bad weather

If the maritime authority does not allow diving, we will first try to move your activity to another day. If that is not possible, we refund the full amount.

Courses not completed

Theory is taught in person. We register your SSI digital materials and certification after your first dive, once you confirm you want to continue.

If you decide not to continue before that point, out of fear or for any other reason, we only charge the price of a Try Scuba (USD 49) and refund the rest.

If you quit after we have registered your SSI materials, we charge for those materials (SSI does not refund them) and for what you have done: the first day at the Try Scuba price and each additional dive at the fun dive price. We refund the rest.

Health

Before diving you must complete the SSI medical statement. If you answer “yes” to any question, you will need a doctor’s approval to take part.
